The 2nd December 2008 marks Formfile's 20th year in operation.  Happy birthday Formfile!

While Belinda Carlisle topped the charts with "Heaven is a Place on Earth" and compact discs outsold vinyl records for the first time ever, a long haired Richard Mensink (Director) started a business in the bedroom of his home in Belgrave in outer suburban Melbourne.

Within a couple of months, the business had already out-grown the bedroom and was relocated to an office in Oakleigh.  Our first Sales Consultant started with us in 1990 and stayed with us for 10 years.

In 1991 Formfile grew and expanded dramatically, extending operations into Sydney and New Zealand, also relocating the Victorian Headquarters to Hawthorn.

Soon Formfile was employing a dozen staff and had relocated from Hawthorn to East Kew before coming to rest in 1995 in our present location, the Virginia Park Estate in Bentleigh East.

At that time we merged with SDDS (Specialised Data and Document Services) a secure archive storage company which was started approximately 11 years earlier.  This now provides our clients with a total "cradle to grave" Records & Information Management solution.

Now known as Formfile Records Managment Group, we have certainly come a long way since the 80's! We now employ over 20 people and have offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, servicing businesses Australia-wide.
