Formfile’s Paper Waste Management Tips to help create a sustainable future

• Print double-sided wherever possible, It’s a great idea to set your printer defaults to double-sided then you can select single-sided only when necessary.
• Keep paper that has only been printed on one side and re-use where possible
• Use paper with recycled content.
•  Re-view drafts and write comments on screen, then return via email. – If you have to print drafts, print on smaller scale (more than one page per side)
• Order supplies in bulk and via email where possible
• Have a recycle bin or box at or close to all work stations to reduce paper being thrown in the bin. (9 out of 10 sheets of office paper are being thrown away.)
• Talk to and educate staff on paper waste management to gain understanding and further ideas to suit your workplace.  Create awareness and spread the word!     

Did you know? For each tonne of paper that is recycled, almost 13 trees, 2.5 barrels of oil, 4100 kWh of electricity, 4 cubic metres of landfill and 31,780 litres of water are saved.
